Manager, Commercial Enablement

Role Responsibilities:
The Manager, Commercial Enablement will support the development and education of the Beam Suntory US Commercial Capabilities Platform strategy. They will support the identification and establishment of key standards, tools and experiences to be built out and implemented to enable top-notch commercial performance and individual career development at Beam.
Commercial Enablement Responsibilities:
· Support the Senior Manager of Commercial Enablement in providing project management, execution, and facilitation support of strategic commercial enablement priorities related to onboarding, career development, commercial capabilities, and annual training across Beam Suntory's commercial organization.
· The Commercial Enablement Manager will assist in driving cross functional engagement to deliver strategic value with a focus on enabling our people to be at their best and grow their careers at Beam Suntory.
· Own select aspects of onboarding and continuous learning programs for our field sales teams, including but not limited to training content creation, scheduling, and coordination, and deployment or delivery of on-demand courses and instructor-led training events.
· This person will be responsible for working with field sales to continuously assess needs and develop training, processes, and toolkit materials to address team requirements.
· Support onboarding initiatives that ensure new members of the commercial team are equipped and properly trained to become successful, shortening the interval to productivity while managing processes for new employees and sales leaders.
· The role is instrumental in developing skills to speak our customer's and distributor's language, articulate their unique business processes and recognize buyers/personas.
· Assist with and at times, run effective enablement research and discovery to uncover opportunities and develop solutions to solve them.
· Leverage global knowledge assets to construct, deliver or facilitate enablement solutions for North America specific commercial enablement needs.
· Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in sales enablement and continuously evolve our enablement program.
Outcomes/Success Criteria:
· Strong project management experience related to commercial enablement initiatives, seeing them through from planning to execution.
· Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in written form including excellent writing and presentation skills with the ability to inspire and influence change across an organization.
· Successful candidates will be a strategic thinker, highly personable, with good problem-solving skills.
· Able to develop effective presentations in time constrained situations.
· Cross-Functional Experience: Skilled at managing multiple senior stakeholders and comfortable navigating a matrix environment.
· Agility and comfort in strategic "white space" work, defining new opportunities while also having a bias for action to execute new ways of thinking and doing.
· Highly self-directed and proactively identify & address opportunities.
· Foster and embed creativity in organizational ways of thinking and doing.

Qualifications & Experience:
· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
· Desired Experience: 5+ Years of Beverage Alcohol Sales or 3-5 years' experience in enablement, corporate training, organizational development, or Commercial Strategy.
· Experience creating and delivering effective onboarding programs
· Chicago Based Role (Hybrid Work - 60/40 Office/Remote)
· Travel 10%
