Position Summary
The Manager, Care Advocate Team is responsible for the oversight and management of Care Advocate team processes, and the organization and development of high performing teams. This position will co-create development of the systems of care - a comprehensive network of statewide, community, and plan-based services organized to be accessed by our care coordination teams as they meet the needs of individuals and families who are involved with multiple service agencies, such as child welfare, mental health, schools, justice and health care.
This position reports to the OhioRISE Market Lead for Care Management under the support of the Aetna Children’s Specialty System of Care and works in partnership with Population Health, Communications and Outreach and Engagement leaders to ensure coordinated efforts across functions. This is a full time telework position in Ohio. Must reside in Ohio.
Demonstrate clinically and culturally competent/responsive with training and experience necessary to manage complex cases in the community across child-serving systems.
Reinforces multisystem philosophy, programs, policies and procedures.
Collaborate internally with Plan Leadership to identify gaps in care/services, work to breakdown associated barriers and improve access and availability of services & supports for our members
Develop and communicate Care Advocacy strategic plan and specific tactics to meet plan that aligns with OhioRISE provider agreement and plan goals.
Ensures key performance indicators are identified, tracked and met across care advocate subject matter areas.
Develop, initiate, monitor and communicate performance expectations for Care Advocate direct reports.
Ensures implementation of tactics to meet strategic direction for cost and quality outcomes.
Identifies opportunities to implement best practice approaches and introduce innovations to better improve outcomes.
Accountable for meeting the financial, operational and quality objectives of the unit.
Accountable for the day-to-day management of teams for appropriate implementation and adherence with established practices, policies and procedures.
Works closely with functional area managers to ensure consistency in system of care interventions supporting our plan sponsors.
Participate in the recruitment and hiring process for staff using clearly defined requirements in terms of education, experience, technical and performance skills.
Assesses developmental needs and collaborates with others to identify and implement action plans that support the development of high performing teams.
Consistently demonstrates the ability to serve as a model change agent and lead change efforts.
Accountable for maintaining compliance with policies and procedures and implements them at the employee level.
Ability to evaluate and interpret data, identify areas of improvement, and focuses on interventions to improve outcomes.Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in clinical and/or child & adult serving system area of experience and expertise.
1 + year(s) of supervisory/managerial experience
Candidate must live in Ohio or willing to relocate
Preferred Qualifications
Active unrestricted Ohio Licensure in one of the following clinical areas: LSW/LISW, LPC/LPCC, IMFT, or RN.
2+ years of experience in children's mental health, child welfare, developmental disabilities, juvenile justice, or a public sector human services or behavioral healthcare field, providing community-based services to children and youth, and their family/caregivers.
Experience in one or more of the following areas of expertise: family systems, community systems and resources, case management, child and family counseling/therapy, child protection, or child development.
Demonstrated proficiency with personal computer, keyboard navigation, and MS Office Suite applications.
Managed Care Experience.
Care Management Experience.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$60,300.00 - $132,600.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
