Position Summary
The Manager Business Analytics is responsible for the financial and data analysis related to manufacturer contracts negotiated by the Zinc Health Services Trade Relations team. Responsibilities include working with the Zinc Trade Relations team on contract modeling, financial strategies, providing analytics, data and support for contract negotiations. The position will also own key tools and processes that enable the Zinc negotiation cycle modeling process to efficiently meet aggressive deadlines.
This position is responsible for working independently and collaboratively with multiple teams (Negotiators, Contract Management, Trade Strategy and Operations, Trade Finance, Zinc Clinical) associated with Zinc manufacturer contracting. The Manager Business Analytics is also responsible for the maintenance and development of various Zinc Health Services reports, analysis and communication that enables modeling trade classes used by negotiators to meet aggressive deadlines.
To be successful, you will enable Executive level decision making by developing original reporting and analysis of pharmaceutical procurement strategies that directly impact the bottom line of Zinc GPO participants. You will use your experience with data reporting and analysis using multiple tools in an agile, fast-paced environment, as well as your complex problem solving and superb analytical skills. Your experience developing and presenting complex problems to multiple audiences, including executive leaders, will also be key to your success.

Zinc Statement: Zinc, as a GPO and affiliate of CVS Health, enters contracts to control and reduce participant organization costs. You will be responsible for devising and executing on strategies to negotiate rebate contracts with pharmaceutical manufacturers to maximize savings to Zinc’s participants and clients.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years of financial modeling and analysis experience
Mature problem solving and analytical skills
Demonstrated ability to manage a complex process
Experience independently creating complex financial models and analysis within the PBM or Managed Care Industry
Experience developing oral and written communications, analysis summaries/presentations, and presentation skills
Experience with MS Office (Teams, PowerPoint, and Word)
Extensive MS Office (Excel) experience
Preferred Qualifications
Financial modeling Experience in the PBM industry
Experience in managed care which may include PBM, Pharma, specialty pharmacy, or health plan experience
Previous experience with medical data and/or medical claims
Experience in data mining tools and processes
Demonstrated quality management skills
Experience with Pharmacy Rx claims Creative ability to work with various individuals across multiple levels and disciplines
Education
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field required.
Expanded Duties:
Key Trade Class contract modeling support
Develop skills to enable operational cycle reporting to support Annual and Mid-Year negotiation processes.
Expand duties to include some of the following items.
Creation of the option file and interface with negotiators to manage and improve across all trade classes
Manage of the 4/1 reporting for the 4/1 process
Interface with Roberta in creation of initial class list for Clinical and Negotiator review for AP and MY cycles.
Expand QA and Training duties form
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$63,300.00 - $139,200.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
