What you'll do...
The Manager, Business Analysis and Insights role in Global Procurement Center of Excellence, will support the Technology, Professional Services and Marketing services categories with the primary focus to develop and execute procurement analytics and insights across multiple categories and business segments; partnering with strategic sourcing to leverage the scale of One Walmart to create and deliver value. This role requires an initiative-taking and talented professional with a strong aptitude for critical thinking, problem solving and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to create and deliver results.
You will make an impact by:
Leveraging critical thinking, data understanding and analytics, and technology savviness to problem solve and recommend actionable insights to stakeholders as well as accessing market intelligence to enable fact-based prioritization of opportunities. Demonstrating proficiency in end-to-end procurement value creation levers and actions.
Honing your effective communication skills (written, verbal, presenting, and visual) to influence stakeholders to implement fact-based recommendations from actionable insights. Demonstrating sound judgment and articulating supporting insights in a compelling way. Understanding how to connect broader sets of analyses and findings into a cohesive storyline.
Amplifying your relationship management skills (incl. social and emotional intelligence) to influence (upwards, downwards and laterally) and build relationships. Leveraging professional scrutiny skills to raise awareness of issues that might need cross-functional input/support. Elevating to leaders for support as needed. Providing timely, action-oriented recommendations to address complex issues.
Leveraging leadership, project management, and change management skills to effectively drive projects in a timely manner ensuring deliverables and objectives are met. Delegating project work, monitoring progress, and providing feedback to others as needed. Leveraging mentor relationships, strengths, and opportunities as an asset to the organization and actively owning personal development.
Familiarity and experience with financial risk reporting and concepts. Following competitors, consumer trends, and market dynamics impacting supported categories.

Master's in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Statistics, Economics or related field
Experience in sourcing & procurement, supply chain or finance
5+ years' experience in data foraging and synthesis, analytics, and insights creation (e.g., spend analysis, TCO, should cost modeling, comparative cost analysis, etc.)
Advanced proficiency utilizing data mining tools (e.g., Alteryx, Python, SAS, MS products, etc.)
Advanced proficiency utilizing BI Visualization Tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker, Tableau, etc.)
Category knowledge of services e.g., Facilities Maintenance, Energy, Sustainability, or Compliance
Experience working in a collaborative environment and cross-functional team management
Retail or Consulting industry experience
Experience utilizing lean six sigma, Agile methodologies or PMP certification
Supervisory experience
Minimum Requirement
