Our HR Associate Relations team is looking for someone who is motivated, willing to take on new and challenging opportunities, and take initiative to make our most important asset - our people - work smoothly.

  The Manager, Associate Relations - Investigations Team position investigates all types of employment complaints and provides proactive recommendations to HR business partners and business leaders on employee relations issues.

Know when to push and when to move on.Demonstrate an aptitude for learning in a fast-paced, ever-changing environmentStrong sense of when to operate independently and when to seek support on an issue

  Responsibilities:

  Investigate and resolve all types of employment complaints, including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour issues, wrongful termination, etc.Resolve manager and associate issues by acting as a consultant/coach through providing guidance on conflict and dispute resolutionThoroughly document investigation plans, interviews, summaries and recommendations in a timely, high-quality mannerAct as an objective and knowledgeable resource to work through challenging employment, performance and policy issuesTailor and deliver communications in an effective, measured way to help influence the right outcomes with stakeholders and mitigate riskThoroughly investigate complaints, while using good judgment to analyze evidence and make recommendationsAct as role model and champion for Capital One ValuesParticipate in internal projects that improve investigative processes

  Basic Qualifications:

  High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certificationAt least 3 years of Human Resources, Legal OR Risk Management experienceAt least 3 years of investigation experience

  Preferred Qualifications:

  At least 5 years of experience working in a team corporate environmentAt least 5 years of Human Resources or Legal experience, focused on employment investigationsSHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR, or related/similar certificationsExperience conducting all types of employment investigationsBasic knowledge of employment law and practices

  The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

  New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $147,800 - $168,700 for Manager, Associate Relations

  Remote (Regardless of Location): $125,300 - $143,000 for Manager, Associate Relations

  Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.

  This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
