Job Description
Must be located in the Raleigh, NC area. This position will support the North Carolina State Health Plan by organizing cross-functional implementation activities, providing program visibility to Executive Sponsors, and identifying and interacting with key external & internal partners. This position will also provide project management support through documentation management, tracking and reporting.
The Account Manager's Role
- Reports to Aetna's Executive Director for the State Health Plan account
- Provides program visibility to Executive Sponsors, COEs, Public and Labor representatives, legal advisors, and external consultants.
- Organizes cross-functional team communications and status reporting on behalf of Executive Director, including communications for workstreams such as Operations, Claims, Banking, Network, Finance, IT, Clinical, Legal/Compliance, Reporting, and Account Management.
- Supports the implementation, open enrollment, and communication strategy for the State of NC Health plan account
- Identifies key opportunities for Stakeholder engagement to interact with Employer Groups currently enrolled/not-enrolled in the State Health Plan
- Coordinate activities along with Account Management & Community Engagement teams to further strengthen Aetna's market presence in North Carolina
- Acts as a subject matter expert (SME) on program metrics like budget adherence, resource planning, performance guarantees, and other metrics as assigned.
- Demonstrates proactive ability to diagnose and fix root cause drivers of service issues as well as identify ways to optimize service enhancements
- May be required to facilitate meetings for the purpose of gathering business requirements or related activities.
- Educates the Health Plan on Aetna specific policies, product information, and procedures as well as industry issues and related current topics (e.g., HIPAA, health disparities).
Required Qualifications
- 5-10+ years sales and/or account management experience
- 2 years of experience with Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, formulas, v-lookups)
- Experience communicating effectively with management
- Experience working collaboratively within work teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to lean quickly and take initiative to provide strategic and operational direction
- Adaptability and creativity - to meet specific client needs and deliver successful outcomes
-Relational IQ - to engage with a variety of key stakeholders, political and non.
-Self-awareness - to contribute positively within team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- 2-3 years of Project Management experience
- PMI-ACP or PMP Certification
Education
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$60,300.00 - $130,000.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
