  Job Description What’s it all about?

  Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) in Europe is responsible for delivering consulting projects to clients across the region, in a wide range of payment subject areas, in support of Visa revenue targets. The European VCA team is organised around several key Service Lines and Practice Areas such as Portfolio Optimisation, Digital and Risk.

  We are currently looking for a Portfolio Optimisation Manager to primarily support the continued development of this VCA Service Line, Europe wide. To date Portfolio Optimization accounts for c25% of VCA Europe’s total business. This role will also be client facing, to support new project sales and delivery – again across Europe, but with a focus to the Nordic region.

  Example of Portfolio Optimisation services include (but not limited to)

  Drive increased card activation and early usage across all payment channels including digital walletsBuild focused strategies and segmentation models that deliver higher portfolio performance, domestically and importantly high revenue international spendingDesign and build best in class loyalty, retention and dormancy customer initiativesDevelopment of new customer value proposition In addition, the Portfolio Optimisation Manager will also be responsible for tracking and reporting of all VCA Europe Portfolio Optimisation activities against plans and targets. The role will report to the Director of EU Portfolio Optimisation and be based in London (flexible)

  What we expect of you, day to day:

  Lead the identification of new Visa consulting and data science opportunities to improve our client’s portfolio performance (drive transaction growth) with support from our Marketing and local teamsTrack the sales and performance of these consulting services on European levelBuild and own internal management reporting and scorecard tracking to show impact of VCA towards Visa senior and executive teamsSupport the implementation of Portfolio Optimisation Go-To-Market strategy including development of new client ready tools, data science solutions, thought leadership and moreDevelop and implement multi-channel communication plan that promotes VCA Portfolio Optimisation services internally to all client facing teams across Europe but also externally to VCA clientsBe client facing, supporting and in some case driving the sales and delivery of consulting projects focused on Portfolio Optimisation – across Europe but with a special focus on the Nordic regionWork closely with other global regions to leverage best practice and content and ideas from other regions that support EU targets This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

  Qualifications 4-8 years experience in consulting (professional services or within an internal consultancy function for a financial services / payment business)Degree educated or hold equivalent professional experienceStrong business analysis and data manipulation skills (research and analyse market and client information to tell a story)Commercial acumen – being able to spot an opportunity and drive value for Visa and the ClientSelf-starter and attention to detailHighly organised with strong project management skillsKnowledge of the payments business and/or financial services (financial technology will be a plus)Ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders at various levels within the businessExcellent and creative PowerPoint skillsExcellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal) including an ability to comprehend and convey complex technical informationExcellent report writing skills (ability to tell a simple ‘story’ involving complex issues)Fluent in written and spoken English (Nordic language would be very beneficial)Curiosity & willingness to learn and develop as a professionalAbility to travel (up to 25% of the time across Visa EU territory) Additional Information Visa is an EEO Employer.
