Job Description Team Summary
As part of the Visa’s Asia Pacific Consulting Practice, VCA applies deep expertise in payment industry to provide solutions and consulting services to assist clients with their key business priorities, drive growth and improve profitability. We drive tangible, impactful, and financial results for Visa's clients, including card issuers, acquirers, and merchants. The VCA team provides a comprehensive range of consulting services to deliver solutions that address unique challenges in areas such as analytics, credit card product development, risk management, marketing, strategic growth, customer experience, digital payments, among others, and solves the most strategic problems for our clients.
What an Associate, VCA does at Visa:
The Associate, Visa Consulting & Analytics will assist project managers in consulting engagements for Visa clients, enabling portfolio growth and improved profitability in clients credit and debit payment card business.
Potential projects could include portfolio management diagnostics, assessments of digital product and marketing strategies, development of industry landscape evaluations and best practices, and optimizing client customer experience and supporting processes.
Key Responsibilities include:
Able to shape initial proposed solution for small (less than 0.5 USD) opportunities.Able to perform as a reliable PMO to overlook vendors and report risks in time Defining the scope, understanding clients’ objectives, framing the problem or opportunity.Collecting and analyzing input such as client information, interviews, data, processes, policies, competitive and environmental informationSynthesizing analysis to determine gaps, issues, opportunities.Facilitate meetings and workshops as an element of client engagements, to enable creative problem solving and/or transfer domain knowledge, helping clients to realize project objectives across multiple client teams/functions.

VCA team is a consulting workforce in a global digital payment leader. The team will work closely with leading banks in China to improve their end-to-end management and analysis capability in retail banking. The team will help drive Visa s share of payments while driving the growth of the card issuers and other partners.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications What you will need:
• Must be team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, able to work effectively in matrixed organization.
• Self-motivated, results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently.
• Intellectual versatility, able to traverse domain topics.
• Experience in and passion for the power of analytics to inform and drive strategy and tactics, and proven ability to generate insights from data.
• Language skills – English written and verbal skills.
• Minimum 1 years’ experience in consumer financing, data analysis or business consulting.
What will also help:
• Some consulting experience preferred with project management and retail customer management credentials helpful.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Be very detail oriented, ensuring the highest level of quality/rigor in reports and data analysis
• An understanding of statistical analysis, modeling, scoring schemes, etc.
• Willingness to travel (30%)
