Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Employee communications professional to lead our Malaysia Site Communications function. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the overall site communications strategy, while leading the internal communications team and closely partnering with the site leadership team with an objective of protecting and promoting Intel's reputation in Malaysia both internally as well as externally.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategize, design and implement Intel Malaysia's site communications (internal, social media and executive communications) in alignment with Intel Global Communications Group (GCG) priorities and Intel Malaysia Site objectives.
Maximize communications impact through storytelling on key themes and narratives in different formats like intranet, newsletters, blogs, social media, open forums, videos, podcasts, infographics and other creative mediums etc.
Partner with the relevant Comms teams in the APJ region and globally; and different stakeholders at the Malaysia site including the site leader, Business Unit Leaders, HR, Legal etc.
Provide strategic counsel, and act as a trusted advisor to the site leadership team on internal communication, employer branding and social media.
In summary, the role encompasses the following: Internal communications, executive communications, workplace/HR communications, crisis communications, change management communications, brand and corporate narrative and stakeholder management.
Qualifications
10-15 years of communications experience preferably in the technology industry.
Internal communications, storytelling, employer branding experience a huge plus.
Proficiency in developing and executing impactful 360-degree communications programs and campaigns.
Flair for data; data-based decision making; Focus on communications metric with analytics/tools for measurement and impact.
Deep solutions mindset and with a passion to drive new and innovative models of communications for higher impact; Use of technology in elevating communications impact.
Agility and adaptability to changing environment both internally and externally.
An inclusive, caring and empathetic leader and collaborator.
Excellent writing skills.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
