MAKO is one of Stryker’s leading Orthopaedics product. Used in joint replacement surgeries, it is a SmartRobotics arm that allows surgeons to have a more predictable and efficient surgical experience. Our MAKO Product Specialists are trusted advisors – training and supporting surgeons in planning and executing such surgeries, ensuring better patient outcomes.
As a Mako Product Specialist Trainee, you will embark on a transformative 9-month intensive training program designed to equip you with the skills necessary to excel in a dynamic, mission-driven environment. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing patient outcomes through our innovative products and solutions. This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgement in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision post training.
What You Will Do:
·Train towards earning the requisite certifications in different MAKO applications within the stipulated period.
·Provide case coverage as well as standby as Clinical Specialist to scrub in for joint replacement cases.
·Drives account growth by working with key hospital staff, thought leaders and referring doctors to develop a referral base and increase procedure volume.
·Provide training and Clinical/Technical support to surgeons and hospital staff.
·Pre-operative CT scans planning and CT segmentation.
·Support processes including case booking, documentation, reporting, billing, etc.
·Participate in training and sales marketing activities as needed.
·Provide prompt and accurate complaint reports per Stryker’s quality system.
·Collaborate with sales clinical team to deliver high standards of service quality care to patients.
What You Need :
·Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedicine, or a related health sciences field.
·Working experience in MNC commercial settings is an advantage.
