You will support the ELS Maintenance team by designing solutionsfor difficult problems and managing projects. You will help train and mentorservice technicians.
The pay range for this position in Colorado is $28 -$35 per hour;however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge,skills, and experience. In addition to base pay other considerationsinclude a variable incentive plan, and a range of medical, financial,tuition reimbursement, and/or other benefits, dependent on the positionoffered#ZRResponsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSPromote a safe working environment by following all safety proceduresMaintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems in the buildingLead and audit preventative maintenance proceduresInstall, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams,control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches,proximity sensors, solenoids, etc.Create and close out work orders with data including labor hours, equipmentmaintenance and parts usedDevelop training plans for service techniciansDevelop work plans for emergency repair of critical assetsPerform additional duties/assignments that may be required by managementfrom time to time
Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to work flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends,nights and/or holidayPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSAssociates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focusin the Mechanical or Electrical field5+ years of experience working with automated conveyors and controls5+ years of experience with electrical and electronic principles, NationalElectrical Code (NEC), and industrial electronics5+ years of experience conducting preventative & procedure-based maintenance5 + years of experience reading blueprints and schematics5 + years of experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs3+ years of work order managementPrevious vendor management experience4+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical orElectrical fieldPrevious leadership experienceExperience with robotic or electromechanical maintenanceExperience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards,accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety Standards.ADDITIONAL SKILLS & ABILITIESMaintain a positive working relationship across all of the Amazon OperationsfacilityMove up to 49lbs as well as stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12hours, with or without reasonable accommodationsProblem solving skillsCustomer focus and ability to balance customer needs with company proceduresOrganized and able to follow thru with commitmentsAbility to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and written.Ability to work under pressure with time constraints.Computer Skills:Basic Requirements:1 year of experience in PC competency to include Microsoft Word, Excel andOutlook.Preferred Requirements:NoneOther Requirements:Basic Requirements:Promoting and conduct good housekeeping practicesFlexibility with work hours and days....
