Job Description:
Maintenance Shift Technician
Multi-crafted (mechanical/electrical) that is mainly focused on providing equipment troubleshooting and breakdown maintenance. As breakdown troubleshooting requirements and repairs are accomplished, the Shift Technician will change focus toward preventive maintenance activities and planned work activities as assigned by the planner scheduler.
This position follows a rotating 12-hour work schedule. It will require the ability to work 2 days and 2 nights then 4 days off.
What are we looking for?
Minimum Secondary School diploma and Post-Secondary Education in a technical field Recognized trade certificate/license (Millwright / Electrical) 5+ years' experience maintaining mechanical systems on complex process and/or high-speed production equipment.Safe work practices with equipment, materials, automation, etc. Proven ability to optimize equipment to meet or exceed product specifications, schedule, and planned rates Strong technical problem solving and troubleshooting skills Organizational and time management skills Knowledge of food safety, HACCP, ISO, materials conversion SAP PM working knowledge
What will be your key responsibilities?
