Our Jackson, WI facility is located just north of Milwaukee and easily commutable with easy on/off freeway access. We create dry beverage mixes products for Kerry customers. We work hard, play hard, and give back to the community we work in through our Kerry employee engagement program. We are located a commutable 20 minutes north of the Milwaukee metro area. What You'll Do:
Youll work with the Maintenance team to complete building repairs, equipment installation, troubleshooting and installation, fulfillment of assigned work orders and unforeseen repairs in a timely fashion. Youll follow good manufacturing practices to maintain inventory, preventative maintenance, good housekeeping and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental laws and regulations. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inspects and tests machinery, and equipment.
Performs Preventative Maintenance on all equipment including forklifts, HVAC systems, air compressors, boilers, and all Production equipment.
Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.
Dismantles machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearing, gears, and other parts of machinery.
Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
Repairs and maintains physical structure of the facility.
Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathe, grinder, and drill to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools.
Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
Troubleshoots all problems and performs regular preventative maintenance.
Initiates purchase orders for parts and machines as well as work orders.
Preferred Qualifications and Knowledge:
Knowledge and ability to operate production machines, forklifts, scissor lifts, and related equipment.
Ability to use various hand and power tools.
Ability to understand and effectively carry out oral and written instructions.
