Job Description:

　　This highly profitable and well known climate controlled industrial manufacturing plant in East Austin seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their team. They are looking for someone who is a gearhead, can turn a wrench and get to work to troubleshoot and maintain their production equipment - conveyors, 480v 3 phase motors, sensors, switches, valves, pumps, drives, PLCs, etc. This is an organized, clean and well organized production plant and they are serious about their work and value their employees greatly - they have been an established business for many years and have a great reputation and are well known in the community as they treat their employees extremely well. Extremely clean, organized, and climate controlled. 　　** Hiring for SWING SHIFT

　　Shift:

　　SWING SHIFT (11am - 9:30pm OR 12pm - 10:30pm)

　　(can expect to work 40 - 45hrs per week, or more OT if you want to

　　Pay:

　　$28 - $35/hr based on interview, skills, and experience.*

　　Responsibilities:

　　Diagnose, analyze and investigate malfunctions of plant packaging and bottling equipment and repair/ adjust in order to keep in good operating condition

　　Troubleshoot equipment, making repairs/adjustments as necessary for maximum operating efficiency

　　Replace/repair motors, gear boxes, drive units and all other packaging equipment components as required

　　Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on production equipment

　　Monitor equipment performance and report any inefficiencies caused by equipment or materials used

　　Packaging equipment changeovers for different size containers or components

　　Maintain assigned records or downtime logs of equipment malfunction or component parts used by repair

　　Comply with good manufacturing practices, safety and audits standard

　　Work independently under limited supervision

　　The Maintenance Technician is responsible to diagnose, analyze and investigate malfunction of plant packaging machines and equipment and repair/ adjust in order to keep in good operating condition. Plant equipment is hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and some automated PLC equipment such as conveyors, palletizers, depalletizes, bottlers, cappers, etc.

　　PLC troubleshooting a strong plus

　　Must provide own tools

　　*Climate controlled food manufacturing plant
