JOB REQUIREMENTS: Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, theMaintenance Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of amaintenance department and the supervision of a team responsible for thepreventive maintenance and repair of fleet. Ensure all repairs and/ormaintenance to equipment (diesel fleet, alternate fuel, containers, andother heavy-duty equipment) is performed in accordance with Companysafety and compliance standards, and with all federal/state regulations.Key Responsibilities: Oversee the daily planning and scheduling of allrepair work to optimize productivity. Follow up on repairs being made,perform repairs as needed and appraise performance of shop personnel.Supervise, coach, train, evaluate employee performance or behavior;provide input into hiring, disciplinary action, terminations,compensation, and promotion decisions Conduct daily shop huddles andfleet walks Perform inspections of outside repairs to ensure all workwas properly completed in accordance with Company\'s safety andcompliance procedures and federal/state regulations; follow up whereappropriate Track issues and conduct Quality Control Inspections(QCI\'s) Plan and schedule repairs in M5 planner and procure all partsfor successful plan.
