WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHER
The Equipment Operator/Maintenance Mechanic maintains facilities, toolsand equipment, mechanical systems and vehicles and preserve areasfrequented by the visiting public. They undertake restoration projectson preserves and maintain equipment. The Equipment Operator/MaintenanceMechanic operates heavy machinery, leads work teams, remove exoticspecies and/or conducts species monitoring and manages livestock, ifnecessary. They will serve on the fire crew and assist with inventoryand purchasing of machinery. May work in variable weather conditions, atremote locations, on difficult and hazardous terrain, and underphysically demanding circumstances.

WHAT YOU\'LL BRING
* High school diploma and 4 years\' direct experience in appliedmechanical maintenance.* Experience operating and/or repairing varioustypes of equipment and machinery. (e.g.; lawn mower, chainsaw, tractor,backhoe, bulldozer, dump truck, two-way radio, etc.). * Experienceworking with electrical, plumbing, welding, and concrete. * Experiencecoordinating teams to complete construction and repair projects.* Musthave a valid driver\'s license. Please indicate this in your resume. *Must be able to obtain related licenses or certifications required toparticipate in prescribed burns or CPR, first aid, etc.* Must be qualified as a Fire Fighter Type 2 (FFT2) or willingness to achieve in ashort timeframe, including Introduction to ICS (I-100), Human Factors onthe Fire line (L-180), Introduction to Wild land Fire Behavior (S-190),Firefighting Training (S-130), and one training burn serving under thesupervision of a qualified FFT2.
