Role Summary: This role will be responsible for understanding role responsibilities and supporting the manufacturing and facility operations through the competent execution of general maintenance activities. The incumbent will perform a wide variety of tasks associated with servicing, repairing or operation of CNC and Conventional VTL/HBM machine tools and manufacturing equipment.
This is a First Shift position: Monday to Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm, at our Bridgeville site.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assess, troubleshoot and develop a path to repair conventional manufacturing equipment such as mills, lathes and drill presses.
Assess, troubleshoot and develop a path to maintain and repair CNC manufacturing equipment with a variety of controls and of different makes and models.
Manage a Preventative Maintenance Program within the facility
Ensure that PMC maintenance departments are maintained to a high level of safety compliance.
Co-manage Safety, Health and Environmental program with current staff.
Complete internal Safety Audits and develop action plans.
Ensure that PMC maintenance personnel are following SHEA safety standards. Including but not limited to lock-out/tag-out procedures prior to working on any & all equipment.
Support manufacturing schedules by scheduling major repair schedules around workload and constraints.
Complete minor design changes on outdated or obsolete equipment.
Identify & locate replacement parts for manufacturing equipment through completion of requisitions.
Guide a comprehensive building preventative maintenance.
Responsible to coordinate and supervise outside services as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years maintenance or machine repairing experience (both electrical and mechanical)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office required (Excel, Outlook and Word)
Understand electrical and mechanical diagrams of manufacturing equipment.
Understand mechanical, electrical and hydraulic repairs on an as needed basis under tight time constraints.
Understand the basic operation of manufacturing equipment.
Work well with others and display strong communication skills.
Able to handle work accurately and swiftly under tight time constraints.
Able to resolve problems quickly.
Work overtime hours as needed, including weekends.
Travel may be required at approximately <5% or as needed
Work well with people.
High level of organization skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills
PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
CNC experience a plus.
Experience in OSHA compliance and adherence.
