Responsibilities You will assist journeyman by performing a variety of tasks of lesser skills, and the more routine duties of the trade. You will assist journeyperson in operation of power machines and tools by holding and feeding materials. You will use hand and portable power tools of the trade. You will keep journeyperson supplied with tools, materials, and parts. You must have sufficient knowledge of the common and most typical operations of trades to assist intelligently the journeyman in operations. Frequently lifts, carries, and sets up parts and equipment that weigh up to 75 pounds and occasionally objects that weigh over 100 pounds. May lift heavier items with assistance. Working Conditions Works inside and outside sometimes in bad weather. The work is usually dirty, dusty, and greasy.
