Boeing Ukraine is seeking an experienced Manager to lead our Maintenance Engineering Team (Ukraine and Poland).
Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the areas of Maintenance documentation which includes Maintenance manuals, Trouble shooting, Fault isolation and other maintenance engineering areas. Conduct and participate in project technical review with the team.
Thorough knowledge of applicable systems, procedures, processes, standards, specifications and reference tools, configuration management and being responsible for the multiple projects.
Develops and implements project or operational plans to ensure business, technical and customer requirements are achieved. Reviews plans' execution, makes appropriate adjustments, and resolves issues. Monitors appropriate metrics to ensure performance to plan.
Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
Manages, develops and motivates employees.
Track production metrics and report performance to senior management.
Ensure that the team is trained and fully equipped to meet production targets.
Ensure that all production documentation and records are accurately maintained.
Basic Qualification:
Bachelor or Master of Engineering degree (preferably in Mechanical, Production, Aerospace) is required.
2+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role.
4+ years of experience in an engineering related role
Extensive Project Management experience.
Candidate must possess understanding of the Airplane systems and Maintenance requirements.
Must possess strong leadership and project management skills.
Communication - strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to prepare comprehensive reports, proposals, Statements of Work.
Candidate should have expertise in using MS Office tools.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Certification in project management from the accredited study program.
Risk analysis and risk management skills.
Candidate should have a strong skills for team building and people development to manage, develop and empower employees.
Must be flexible, with a high tolerance for organizational complexity and ability to work with global sites.
Good presentation skills.
Strong communication skills, teamwork, initiative.
Airline or MRO experience.
