Night Shift Opportunity Sheboygan Falls, WI Job SummaryThe Maintenance Associate is vital part of a team. Responsible forsafely completing maintenance assignments to build, repair and/ormaintain all equipment in good operating condition as accurately aspossible, while keeping associated costs to a minimum to help meet Plantgoals. The Maintenance Team is multi-skilled and able to contribute toplant maintenance activities in a variety of craft disciplines. Thisposition reports to the Sheboygan Falls Maintenance Manager. EssentialDuties & Responsibilities * Completes projects with minimal guidanceshowing a proactive attitude to minimizing equipment down time and lostproduction capability. * Troubleshoots mechanical devices in operation.Dismantles and examines devices to gain access to and remove defectiveparts. Adjusts, repairs, or replaces defective parts. * Effectivelycommunicates to fellow technicians and production staff verbally as wellas email. * Sets up and operates shop machinery such as drill press,grinders, band saws, cutting torch, welder. etc. Uses hand tools andpneumatic tools to modify or repair parts and equipment. * Installs newor repairs/modifies electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment asneeded. * Works to improve reliability and up-time of all equipment. *Operates forklift and aerial lift platform as needed. * Researchessupplies, parts and tools needed to efficiently complete work orders. *Assists in identifying and maintaining an accurate inventory of parts byeffective utilization of a CMMS. * Contributes to upkeep and updatingof required paperwork such as records, maintenance logs, documents,manuals, drawings, PM logs, etc. * Supports the vision, mission, andguiding principles of the company. * Follows applicable Safety, Healthand Environmental rules and guidelines while performing job duties. *Maintains departmental housekeeping standards. * Other duties asassigned. Must have basicskills on use of computers: MS Office, Windows. Must be able to navigateelectrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and blueprints forplanning and troubleshooting. Must have math skills to add, subtract,multiply and divide and the ability to perform these operations usingunits of weight measurement, volume, and distance. Ability to deal withnonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, etc.) Musthave ability to reason and address complex problems. Must have manualdexterity sufficient to operate a wide variety of hand tools, handtrucks, forklift, mechanical platforms and lifts, bench tools, welders,saws, drills etc. Industrial Electrical experience including workingwith 3 phase motors, 480v and below. Years of Experience: 5 years ofprior experience in industrial maintenance, electrical, mechanical, orin a related field; or a combination of education and experience deemedequivalent.
