Position Summary
The Senior Analyst candidate will possess targeted technology skills in mainframe storage methodologies across multiple vendor solutions, be adaptable to changing priorities, and provide data-driven business solutions.
The ideal candidate will:Maintain and manage multi-vendor mainframe z/OS Disk & Tape environmentsLeverage various storage management products/utilitiesPerform storage monitoring/tuning for performance and capacityDevelop and deploy best practice solutions in alignment with business requirementsProvide support for complex technical and operational issues, driving problem resolution through root cause determinationProduce control evidence for various audit inquiriesInteract with hardware and software vendors to plan and implement z/OS storage upgradesWork effectively within Change and Problem Management structuresEngage in the development and execution of continuity and recovery plansParticipate in the on-call rotationRequired Qualifications3+ years of mainframe storage hardware and software product implementation, z/OS operating system, catalog structures, CDS and catalog file reorganization, data replication technologies, and information lifecycle management experience.Preferred QualificationsEffective communication and team skills with an ability to cooperate, present to and participate with peers/team membersAble to work on multiple projects concurrently, collaboratively, within a team environmentExperience with IBM and Dell/EMC storage disk and tape solutions.Experience with data replication management solutions including GDPS, GDDR, and the various mirroring methodologiesExperience in performance tuning and troubleshootingExperience in SMP/e and z/OS software lifecycle managementExperience with mainframe automation productsStrong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skillsExperience working for a medium/large corporationEducationAssociates degree or equivalent work experience.Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$35.34 - $72.12
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
