Job Summary Machine Operator I is responsible for theset up and operation of a production machine in accordance withestablished procedures and guidelines. Secures and maintains materialand supplies required on the operation. Principle Duties andResponsibilities Completes work area set up. Operates and feeds themachine in a safe and efficient manner, and according to establishedprocedures. Stacks completed products in accordance with establishedprocedures, and if required, may cover, label and bandcomponents/finished product. Ensures work area is safe, clean andorganized, and that equipment is safe to operate. Completespre-shift/startup equipment inspection checklist and reports anyproblems or concerns. Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.Maintains production records as required. Checks materials and finishedproducts to ensure compliance with standards. Performs duties consistentwith established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards.Participates in safety, CI and other programs and meetings. Performsother duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma/GED ispreferred but not required. Minimum of 6 months of experience inmanufacturing and/or assembling is required. Working knowledge of basicmath.
