  If you have the background, experience, and drive, we currently have an opportunity forMachine Operatorat our manufacturing plant located inSouth Boston.

  Pay: $21.11/Hour

  Shift: 12AM-12PM

  Your Role:

  As aMachine Operatoryou will be responsible for operating the RPP Line, Baler, Shredder and Grinder, follow all safety procedures as required and

  You will have the opportunity to:

  Identify and sort all incoming scrap passing through grinder and shredder.

  Change screens on RPP Lines.

  Must follow all safety procedures including Lockout/Tag-out of equipment.

  Keep accurate production, scrap, and usage reports.

  Keep accurate line log detailing downtime, running conditions, etc.

  Understand and monitor feed system of recycled material to RPP Line.

  Change blades on Die cutter as needed or by schedule.

  Operate RPP Lines including monitoring & managing heats, speed, etc. for production of quality product.

  Troubleshoot line for minor mechanical issues and needed adjustments

  Inform supervision of potential problems.

  Housekeeping of general RPP/ reclaim line.

  Maintain cleanliness of cooling water circulation system.

  Maintain cleanliness of areas between auger at feed throat and gear box on extruder.

  We need you to have:

  Demonstrated basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and calculations).

  Required lifting up to 50lbs.

  Demonstrated written and verbal skills appropriate for dealing with team members.

  Demonstrated computer literacy to include: Oracle, Outlook and Shopfloor.

  Demonstrated troubleshooting and mechanical abilities.

  Demonstrated ability to learn, develop, and maintain knowledge and skill development appropriate to job assignment.

  Ability to work unsupervised.

  Applicants must also be aware that awarding of this job may cause changes in Vacations schedules or Personal Holidays that are already approved
