MAC - Assistant Online Manager - Retailer.com
Position Summary
This role is responsible for strategically managing key accounts and driving online sales for MAC across a portfolio of retailers and pure play websites with the support of Retail.com Online Manager.
You will be contributing to campaign and sales analysis and identify trends and opportunities to drive MAC presence across the retailers.
You will be managing our retailer ecommerce relationships with the support of Retailer.com Online Manager, ensuring each account meets their sales target through innovation, exposure, and a strong promotional calendar.

Key Roles & Responsibilities RO
Trading, stock and sales
• Own the sales performances of retailer.com, compiling weekly and monthly trade reports and share findings with wider teams.
• Produce weekly analysis on sales performance and actions for the week.
• Work with Retailer.com Online Manager & align with the brand to forecast and re-phase sale estimates per online retailer.
• Develop risk and opportunities strategies by retailer.
• Work with wider brand and online teams on sampling programmes for recruitment & retention initiatives.
• Manage forecasting gift quantities & strategy per retailer.com, including online exclusives.
• Coordinate the online retailer excess stock usages plans and work collaboratively with demand planning and inventory teams to secure incremental activations.
• Contribute to post campaign analysis decks for all key launches and trading periods
Planning & Collaboration
• Meet with National Accounts & Marketing Teams on a regular basis to develop, maintain and feedback on strategy for key retailers.
• Work with retail partners to obtain analytics on retailer programs as well as overall sales goals/strategies and report on findings to the wider teams.
• Build and nurture relationships with key online retailer contacts ensuring MAC is front of mind in retailer considerations.
• Create a retailer.com activity calendar, lead weekly status calls and monthly planning meetings to ensure alignment and on-time execution of key initiatives to drive towards joint sales targets.
• Work with marketing teams to ensure 360 brand approach to all activations online and in store.
• Support Retail.com Online Manager in driving strategy and developing opportunities for new retailer / pure play site launches.
• Escalate issues or enhancements and suggest partner site improvements to retailer.com team and brand partners through site walks and optimisation opportunities.
• Monitor retailer.com business to achieve weekly sales targets, tracking individual accounts' monthly sales goals and securing best initiatives.
• Oversee the creation and execution of all promotional activities and merchandising strategy.
• Partner with retailers to gain detailed insight on on-site retailer.com analytics including click through, traffic, sales & ROI
• Lead development of new online content, in collaboration with brand site and marketing teams.
• Conduct daily site-walks for key retail partners, raising issues where necessary.
• Manage the day-to-day relationship with online retailers and pure plays, liaising on sales performance, stock requirements, site updates and content sign offs.
• Support the Retailer.com Online Manager with investment packages/partnerships/content requirements. Raising POs and supporting with P&L administration.
• Contribute and feedback ideas for future opportunities on retailer.com platforms using insights and competitor analysis.
• Fill out NLF/Matrix for all NPD launches, collate and upload corresponding suite of assets per retailer.
• Work with creative teams to brief in online banners/crops for campaigns and brand room refreshes.
• Regular site walks to capture retailer promo activity, M• A• C visibility across site, campaign deliverables, NPD launches and M• A• C national promo moments.
Team Management
• Coach direct reports giving regular feedback on performance as well as ad-hoc training sessions to allow the direct reports to develop and progress.
