PepsiCo's Corporate M&A team is responsible for generating, managing and executing mergers and acquisitions, minority investments, and strategic activities across all of PepsiCo's business units. This fast paced, collaborative team of M&A professionals focuses on the inorganic agenda of PepsiCo's global beverage and snack product portfolio, making a direct impact on the company's future success.
PepsiCo is seeking an Corporate M&A professional for the role of Finance Manager. It is a rewarding opportunity for both personal and professional growth where you will have the unique opportunity to drive PepsiCo's inorganic agenda, solve complex strategic problems, and work with global cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The Manager will report to a Vice President while having direct interaction with the Head of Corporate M&A, as well as other senior company executives, and participate in all stages of executing strategic transactions for PepsiCo globally.
THIS ROLE IS BASED OUT OF OUR PURCHASE, NY HEADQUARTERS. THE ROLE REQUIRES COMING INTO THE OFFICE AT LEAST 3 DAYS A WEEK
Responsibilities
Support PepsiCo divisions' business leaders, senior corporate executives and strategy teams to screen, analyze and develop M&A strategy and pipelineCollaborate with business and functional teams to synthesize industry/category dynamics and all aspects of the business case development (strategic rationale, financial analyses) to evaluate and execute opportunitiesLead cross-functional team to execute a wide range of strategic activities, including, but not limited to, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and minority investmentsInfluence key decision makers to create internal alignment
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
3+ years of transaction execution experience either in corporate development / M&A department of a corporation, investment bank, private equity or similar financial services institution. Work within a management consulting firms M&A / Corporate development practice may also be appropriateAbility to evaluate potential opportunities through the development of valuation models to reflect detailed business case assumptions with the flexibility to run scenarios / sensitivitiesAbility to drive results on multiple projects in parallelStrong quantitative and analytical skills; effective verbal and written communicationStrategic thinker with intellectual curiosity; highly analytical and skilled at valuation methodologiesExpertise in screening and analyzing potential opportunities for strategic fit and conducting business due diligenceStrong ability to work collaboratively within teams across the organizationMust be willing to travel if required
Preferred Requirements:
Food and/or beverage experience, as well as related consumer products background is preferred, but company will consider exceptional candidates with relevant skill sets from other industriesExperience being part of large cross-functional teams in a global, matrix organizationProven ability to lead and manage multiple complex M&A projects in parallelStrategic thinker with the ability to think big picture without losing sight to detailsSkillful at building trust with and influencing senior-level stakeholdersStrong ability work collaboratively within teams across the organization
Compensation and Benefits:
The expected compensation range for this position is between $98,700 - $165,150 based on a full-time schedule.Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salaryBonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually.Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.In addition to salary, PepsiCo offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees and their families, subject to elections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), Defined Contribution Retirement Plan.
