The Module Engineer role is multifaceted. The ideal candidate will have a passion for instrumentation and equipment with the goal of developing a robust manufacturable process module.
Working in the LTD-Manufacturing Development team, you will be responsible for several multi-million-dollar processing tools in one of the most advanced semiconductor clean room facilities in the world.
Working directly with highly skilled technicians to achieve top levels of performance, you will be developing the manufacturing maintenance and operational systems on future manufacturing technologies before they are transferred out to Intel fabs worldwide.

By applying to this Module Engineering position, you will be considered for multiple roles by Intel leaders representing the following areas:
Etch, Metrology, Planarization, Lithography, Thin Films, Dielectrics, Module Integration Yield, Diffusion
Responsibilities include:
Defining and developing procedures and equipment configuration for the module with the end goal of maximizing quality, equipment availability, and output.
Defining projects to meet quality, reliability, cost, yield, productivity, and manufacturability requirements.
Driving improvements over variables such as material, method, equipment, environment, and operating personnel.
Developing solutions to problems utilizing formal education, statistical knowledge, and problem-solving tools.
Establishing the process control systems for the processing module and sustaining the module through the volume ramp.
Develops a strategy to resolve difficult problems and establish systems to deal with these problems in the future.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will respond to production requests for material disposition and alarm response.
Shifts:
Shift 1 Days (Monday – Friday)
Shift 4 (nights frontend) PM-AM: Sun-Tues and alternating Saturday nights
Shift 5 (days frontend) AM-PM: Sun-Tues and alternating Wednesday days
Shift 6 (nights backend) PM-AM: Wed-Sat and alternating Sunday nights
Shift 7 (days backend) AM-PM: Thurs-Sat and alternating Wednesday days
Qualifications
You must possess the minimum qualifications below to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. The experience listed below may be obtained through schoolwork, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.
This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship. Requires availability to work a Compressed Work Week schedule (shifts shown above).
Minimum Qualifications:
Must possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, Chemistry, or a related Semiconductor Scientific STEM field of study. Must be able to start within 8 months.Preferred Qualifications:
Equipment or instrument troubleshooting
Materials characterization
Statistical data analysis (MATLAB, Excel, JMP, etc.)
