The Boeing Company is looking for a Low Observable Process Quality Engineer (Senior or Subject Matter Expert) to join our team in Berkeley, MO .
This is an exciting opportunity to develop the next generation of Boeing’s low observable processes that design, fabricate and modify unique metals, bonded materials and coatings that create the stealth effect.

Position Responsibilities:
Leads integration of contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation.
Provides interpretation of complex requirements.
Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for large programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements.
Develops Quality criteria to support supplier selection activities.
Leads various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.
Develops and selects methods for analysis, testing and audit to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.
Assists in development of new standards repairs for non-conformances.
Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.
Develops and implements corrective actions.
Performs benchmarking and other forms of advanced analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved.
Works under minimal direction.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Associate's degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
3+ years of experience in development and execution of low observable processes
3+ years of experience in a Quality and/or Engineering role
3+ years of experience reading, understanding, and interpreting Engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design)
Preferred Qualifications:
5 or more years relevant experience or a combination of education and experienceTypical Education/Experience:
Senior (Level 4): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Subject Matter Expert (Level 5): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 8 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range:
Senior (Level 4): $115,200 – 160,000
Subject Matter Expert (Level 5): $143,100 – 199,000
