  We are looking for a talented Logistics Training Associate to join our team specializing in LOGISTICS for our BUSINESS SEGMENT in Harrisburg, PA

  In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  1) Attain a comprehensive understanding of the site's operational functions, work processes and systems.

  2) Develop and maintain a robust Training Program that provides effective site orientation, accurate system access/privileges and task related new hire and refresher training, ensuring trainees demonstrate required level of proficiency.

  3) Audit and update the site's work instructions, standard work and related material as required by consulting with on site and remote subject matter experts to ensure pertinent and up to date information is documented and conveyed.

  4) Develop and maintain the site's Training Matrix to track employee training hours, assessment results, retention rate, job assignments, etc.

  5) Collaborate with cross-functional work teams to introduce and sustain Operations Excellence initiatives, drive continuous improvement and ensure training is part of the site's change management protocol.

  Qualifications

  To be successful in this role you will need the following: Data Analytics - Discovers, interprets and communicates qualitative and quantitative data; determines conclusions relying on knowledge of business or functional frameworks; simultaneously applies statistics, data validity, data visualization, and problem solving approaches to effectively extract meaningful patterns and business insights; presents conclusions and outcomes that enable data driven business decisions. Human Resources Data Management - Acts on people data to ensure completeness, accuracy and compliance with company policy and legislative requirements. Instructional Design and Effectiveness - Analyzes, designs, develops, implements, and evaluates instructional content using Cummins methodologies and technologies to maximize learning and meet organizational needs; evaluates success indicators by using appropriate collection methods and analyzing the results to validate content effectiveness as compared to the learning objectives. Training Delivery - Instructs learners in a manner that engages and adjusts to individual and group needs resulting in knowledge, skills and abilities that can be applied on the job. Education, Licenses, Certifications

  High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

  This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

  Experience

  Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

  Compensation and Benefits

  Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage, and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
