  Job Summary

  Anord Mardix, a Flex company, are a global group that manufactures switchgear and associated products for installation in mission-critical and live commercial buildings ranging from data centres to the international headquarters of some of the world's largest companies.

  To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an experienced Logistics Coordinator located in Dundalk, Ireland.

  Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Logistics Coordinator will play a key role within the Supply Chain department. You will be responsible for driving Continuous Improvement Programmes throughout the business and will have knowledge of the day-to-day operations of Logistics.

   Roles and Responsibilities Coordinating a team of drivers and vehicles, to reduce movements & improve efficiency.Responsibility for all the dispatching, routing and tracking of delivery vehicles.Ensuring company compliance of all transport policies, legislation and procedures, including securing the load for transport.Provide leadership and direction for all logistics activities to ensure compliance with customer and company requirements are met at the best value.Manage and control all imports and exports ensuring compliance with customs regulations / procedures.Ensuring that all transport fleet vehicles are properly maintained and serviced.Maintaining accurate administrative records, including following up the PODsHelp lead the team in the Logistics Managers absence.Responsibility for all H&S investigations involving transport.Identifying operational issues, potential problems and opportunities.Preparation of domestic delivery notes & international export documentation. Knowledge and Skills Required Demonstrable Logistics experience (ideally with experience of managing employees).Proficient in all MS Office programmes, strong on Excel.Experience in managing shipping agents, freight forwarders and booking freight.Great problem-solving skills, individually and within a teamAbility to work flexibly and to make decisions quickly.Good knowledge of ERP/WMS.Strong organisational skills for planning schedules, journeys and loads under pressure whilst maintaining customer demands.APICS/IIPMM/Logistics Qualification-Desirable What you'll receive for the great work you provide: An exciting global organisation, working on projects for many well-known brands across different industries.
