Logistics Analyst
Description
We are looking for a talented Logistics Analyst to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Under some supervision, follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions and dispatch goods in a factory or warehouse. Conducting/overseeing cycle and bin counting, investigating inventory discrepancies, processing part returns to vendor, processing defective parts, using system generated reports to monitor inventory accuracy. Process returns and/or defects to support Assembly production. Accurately sort, label, store goods and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space. Pick, pack, and dispatch incoming and outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders. Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery. Communicate with customers by phone and in person. To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and have experience with BMS, production and warehouse/logistic processes. Proficiency in Microsoft applications, generating reports and intermediate level computer skills. Ability to be trained to operate a forklift. Logistics and warehouse experience preferred. Must be able to physically lift 50 pounds occasionally, wear required personal protective equipment. High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. This is a fast-paced warehouse environment, there will be a lot of standing and lifting. This position does not require any Department of Transportation (DOT) related pre-screenings. Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
