Box Stairs:Match the appropriate parts to the stringersAssembly of stairs by inserting tread and risers into the stringer, clamping the stair, gluing and hammering in wedges, gluing and stapling in the v-block, and nailing/screwing the riser into the back of the treadRemove stair from assembly table and move it to the punch out tableQuality control by looking for any nail blow-outs, screw blow-outs, and making sure everything is properly seated and securedCut and install scotia and wrap stairs as neededStage stairs on skids for the loading department**Individuals hired in this department are expected to be cross trained in various sub-departments as needed.Being able to perform manual labor relevant to the specific department, such as lifting up to 50 lbs.Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. The employee may be required to perform other duties as assigned.
