Licensing Software Asset Specialist
Hybrid- Ortigas, Pasig City

What is the Job all about?
The person in this position is expected tocoversystem implementation, management, maintenance and general support of application updates. You will keep the applications up and running while ensuring the licenses of the products are correct. You will also participate in creation and definition of software packages.
The role will be reporting directly to the Senior Manager under IS Product Lifecycle Management and to be based in Ortigas, Pasig City.
Your main responsibilities:
License optimization
Spare with colleagues in the Tools and Integration team around the license usage
Spare with Tools and Integration around the composition
Spare with Tools and Integration around possible saving in the license composition
Renewal
Ensure we keep all renewal dates and agreements, together with the Tools and integration + our SAM team
Ensure the data for the composition of the licenses are present and verified.
Locate saving in annual fees
License optimization
Contribute to license optimization by creating the right data foundation.
Ensure Tools and Integration has the correct knowledge on requirements for the different systems
Continuous compliance check up
Ensure technical deliveries according to system and solution architecture
Develop software according to specified software development process
Ensure system performance optimization
Ensure code review according to quality standards
Train associate developers
Work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams – and influence others in the team
Work effectively in CI/CD pipeline
Provide input for knowledge sharing and communities across the organization
Provide input for developing software engineering expertise area
Your background:
Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree or equivalent work experience within Engineering or IT
Industry, market and business environment
Most likely to have 3-4 years of relevant work experience before entering level besides formal education.
Technical, functional and professional
Solid knowledge of the plans, processes and activities within the functional area in product Development.
Good ability to influence others.
Competences in windows server applications.
Administrator competences and knowledge of FLEXlm or similar license management systems would be nice but not required.
Windows knowledge
Install knowledge for a lot of systems, we are going to change license server info on a lot of systems.
Knowledge of NI products (we got a cleanup project in our license usage / pool)
