JOB REQUIREMENTS: Our LPNs provide quality, routine direct and indirectpatient care on a unit. Duties include: assisting the Registered Nursein making critical observations of clients and assisting in complex caresituations; working directly with families; providing assistance inpersonal care; administering and documenting treatments and medication;participating in the maintenance of care unit; and working with aninterdisciplinary team. These are flexible part-time positions with theoption to pick up additional hours as desired with no required overtime.Shifts are available AM (6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.), PM (2:30 p.m. to 11:00p.m.), holidays and weekends, and include pay differentials. LTE jobsare limited to 1039 hours in a 12-month period and do not includeemployee benefits. Job duties require the ability to move, repositionand transport patients, stand and/or walk up to 75% of eight-hour day toprovide assessments, sit, kneel, stoop, make visual observations, lift,push, pull, carry, reach, maintain hygiene, use special safetyequipment, and wear protective clothing. Employment in this position iscontingent upon passing a pre-employment tuberculosis (TB) skin test.Due to the nature of the position, WDVA will conduct a criminalbackground check prior to an offer of employment.
