What the role is
Selina is looking for a Head of Learning & Development to manage the operational training efforts for all Selina locations. In this role you will get the chance to work with region, country and location leaders and team members to identify learning opportunities in order to create training materials and deliver or coordinate delivery of required training.

What you will be doing
Identify department and location training needs through strategy and data analysis, as well as interaction with Managers and Connectors. Be a reference point when a training is needed in the OperationsDesign engaging content and exercises for training programs in different modalities (F2F or virtual)Design the onboarding process and content for all Operations positions at all levelsMonitor compliance with onboarding for all new hiresCreate or advice others on how to create interactive contentSchedule and coordinate training sessions, including participant travels and approvalsSelect and book venues and coordinate reproduction of training materials, logistics and meals.Deliver seminars, workshops, individual training sessions, e- learning sessions and other types of learning experiencesMonitor compliance with training and other required records of the training sessions deliveredTrain Trainers to deliver needed trainingsManage the training budgetConduct evaluations of delivered trainings to identify areas of improvementMonitor employee performance and response to training after itParticipate in learning activities to keep updated on training contents and methodologiesCoordinate the training agenda before a new pre-opening.Coordinate pre-opening training dates and logistics with the pre-opening and development teamsDeliver all required contents for operations, systems and food and beverage for the pre-opening training at new locationsConduct and support UP-Training of Selina existing locations.Foster and encourage teamwork and bonding among location team members.Review training evaluations and support staff that could improve.
What you need for the role
