Learning and Education Manager
Purpose and Scope/General Summary: The Learning & Education Program Manager is responsible for implementing and managing strategic learning initiatives at JBS. This role reports to the Head of Learning & Development for a leading food production company, with a strong culture, fast pace, and dynamic work environment. Individuals that would succeed in this position are strategic, influential, strong communicators, and have excellent organization skills. Programs this role will be responsible for include the Better Futures Program, People First, Leading People First, Leadership Fundamentals, Development Workshops, and Summit.
Responsibilities:
Provide oversight of the company’s free college tuition benefit, the Better Futures Program, to ensure consistency in program management and execution.
Effectively manage a suite of Learning & Development Programs, to include program design, content selection, facilitator resources, and learning milestones.
Oversee the company’s learning management system, by administrating and tracking utilization.
Evaluate effectiveness of learning and education programs by leveraging key metrics and people analytics.
Communicate strategic and tactical program information with team members at all levels of the organization.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with partner colleges and local human resource teams to maximize program engagement.
Acquire a functional understanding of a plant operations environment and the learning needs for team members and their families.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or five years of work experience in program management.
Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external to the company.
Experience working in Higher Education.
Experience in a leadership role, preferred
PMP certification, preferred
Bilingual (Spanish), preferred
Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team.
Effective written and oral communication skills.
Ability to foster relationships and influence others.
Strategic thinking.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits :
Benefits : Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
Paid Time Off : sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
401(k) : company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
Base salary range of $75,000 - $90,000 ; and
Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
