Summary:Under the supervision of the Learning and Development Specialist, the Learning and Development Assistant supports the Learning Department goals, reviews, and adapts provided training materials into live LMS365 training plans and courses, maintains the organizational tracking system for training, and provides excellent customer service and Learning Management System technical support to internal and external users. Possess excellent time management and organizational skills. Must successfully pass driver record, background, and fingerprint check.
Education and/or Experience:Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills:Must possess a high level of computer competency and ability to learn new programs easily. Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other specialized software programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Assist and report to Learning and Development Specialist.
Prepare meeting agendas, take notes, and disseminate notes to meeting participants.
Communicate effectively in a professional and cordial manner through oral, written, and visual communications with others at all industry levels.
Lead meetings with department leadership to establish training plans and obtain training documents for team members.
Review and adapt provided training materials into live LMS365 training plans and courses.
Update?and maintain?LMS365 site content, Learning and Development?SharePoint site, and future Learning Department platforms.
Maintain and publish the Learning Department's calendar events.
Create and maintain a manual for LMS365 users and training creation requests.
Assist with preparations of documents, supplies, and technology for training sessions.
Review and input supplied training materials into live LMS365 training plans and courses.
Maintain the organization's training tracking system, department filing, and record retention. ?
Provide technical support for staff and supervisors using LMS365.
Monitor and answer Learning and Development inbox, phone inquiries, & the Learning Calendar.
Provide initial staff LMS365 passwords and resets passwords as necessary.
Responsible for new hire manual employee enrollment and terminated employee removal processes in Active Directory and Learning Management Systems.
Deliver excellent customer service and LMS365 tech support to internal and external users.
Order and maintain supplies for Learning Department and Learning Center.?
Multi-task assignments and complete them in a satisfactory manner.?
Cross-train on other department responsibilities as needed.
Work collaboratively with Workforce and Family Services to provide participant services.
Follow all policies, procedures, and directives of Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest assuring safety of personnel or property.
Properly wear and maintain all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
