About the Role

Lean Digital Core (LDC) program will be rolled out across all units in Novartis Group affiliates and over 75 countries. This position will have a significant impact on the business success of the program, will facilitate and drive change in a networked environment, utilizing strong leadership and communication skills at all levels of the organization. You will be focused on various PMO services including but not limited to Program Reporting & Governance services, Embedded PMO excellence, Change Request Management, Onboarding / Offboarding.
Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Support the LDC program management office to ensure the effective planning, preparation and execution of the Lean Digital Program, enabling Novartis to transform into a focused medicines company powered by data and digital
• Direct project teams (internal and external) and maintain control of progress -quality -and budget to meet the desired business objectives
• Own project status, issues and risks through appropriate channels / tools and ensure that these are reported back to agreed project governance (example, Steering Committee) with focus on required actions, ownership, and risk management
• Own various PMO services including but not limited to Program Reporting & Governance services, Core PMO Services, etc...
• Ensure effective collaboration between various teams (LDC Verticals and Horizontals) and step in and facilitate x-team activities whenever required
• Support and backfill whenever required other LDC PMO areas, including, but not limited Methodology, Tools, External Partner Excellence teams, etc...
• Constantly drive improvements of the PMO services in close alignment with PMO internal teams and external stakeholders
• Ensure framework for a smooth transition to operations and the optimal planning and execution of all activities associated with a release

Role Requirements
What you'll bring to the role:
• 15+ years' experience in country and global roles in a multi-national organisation
• 5+ years of project management leadership experience, ideally in global projects
• Ability to influence without authority; excellent in dealing with ambiguity skills
• Solid organizational agility and conflict management skills
• Proven experience in interactions with senior management (up to ECN-1 / CxO level); experience handling quality metrics & issues
Desirable requirements:
• Bachelor university degree or higher. Internal & external stakeholder management (business & vendor); proficient English
