We are seeking a Lead UI/UX Designer where you will be working alongside the design and product teams to create delightful customer experiences that drive measurable business impact. This position will be designing brand-defining experiences based on user needs for a range of customer-facing products and services while collaborating with project teams and engineering to be the voice of the user and defining the next generation of our digital presence.
Principal Responsibilities:
Own and deliver brand-defining digital products, communications, and solutions that are informed by business results and customer insightsCreate and facilitate an environment, process, and design system that supports consistent UX principles and processes across devices and channelsInteract with Product owners to understand business needsAnalyze customer insight research and usability activities to understand existing challenges, inform strategic and creative direction-including user research, user testing and customer journey mapping-to make strategic recommendations that will advance our experiencesCreate wireframes and prototypes, lead user testing exercises and document UX design recommendationsManage and mentor team members on all aspects of design and interaction-throughout the process and deliveryFoster a healthy culture of design criticism and learning by having an active voice in cross-functional design reviewsCollaborate with leaders, stakeholders, and subject matter experts on strategic initiatives and key projectsDefine market and research opportunities to support user-centered solutionsSuccessfully manage multiple projects spanning in scale and complexity with hands on experience throughout the process, from facilitating research to final implemented experienceContribute to presentations, delivering strategic UX recommendations with confidence and convictionCollaborate with the technical team to implement UI solutions and ensure the technology executes on the vision and requirementsEvangelize design system, UX insights and voice of customer analysis with partners and stakeholdersOwn relationships with 3rd party platforms and services
Job Qualifications:
Strong portfolio demonstrating experience leading and delivering comprehensive and elegant end-to-end solutions within a complex business environment, similar to, if not within, the healthcare or life sciences industryHands-on experience guiding team members and stakeholders through your vision and UX strategiesAbility to clearly articulate goals and UX decisions and know how to use data and research to back up your work.Ability to interpret, translate, and extend existing brand guidelines in the context of developing creative assets.Experience working in ad agency or corporate environment and highly knowledgeable about new and emerging digital technologies and trendsDemonstrated ability to produce UX Design work and present design solutions based on business strategy and user needsExperience leading user testing and prototypingWorking knowledge of UX tools such as, Sketch, Invision, Figma, Adobe and UserZoomStrengths: User-centered design, UI design, and visual designFront-end development skills are a plusAbility to work independently, under tight deadlines and manage multiple task
Pay Range: $88,005 - $148,578
Benefits: All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
