　　We are in search of a Lead Transportation Electrification (TE) Engineer to join our diverse and fast-paced organization. As a core team member, you will be interacting with other disciplines, playing a valuable part in leading and designing infrastructure projects in the zero-emission mobility and transportation electrification. 　　The Challenge:

　　Provide electrical engineering design for electric vehicle charging infrastructure projects from conceptual design through construction packages, which includes site plans, single lines, construction details, specifications, and calculationsAssist in developing and implement project proceduresLead the engineering discipline and coordinate with civil/structural engineer to provide complete designsCoordinate with utilities and permitting agenciesProvide support through construction including reviewing submittals, answering requests for information, and providing revised design documents as neededAttend site visits and client meetings to discuss existing facilitiesAccess fleet conversion opportunities and feasibilityInterface with the customer to identify project/scope needs and communicate engineering solutionsWrite technical scopes of work for subcontractorsWrite detailed technical approach descriptions to be included in client proposal submissionsPerform quality reviews of electrical design packagesDevelop project and construction estimating at various phasesProvide leadership, guidance, and instruction to staff members to include engineersDevelop white papers to present at industry conferencesPresent solutions and/or findings to clientOther duties as assigned

　　What you will bring to the table:

　　Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited program with eight (8+) plus years of relevant experienceCurrently licensed as a Professional Engineer in one or more statesMust have expert level mastery of NFPA 70 (NEC) and related codes.Must have experience with designing electrical systems including: facility distribution systems, 600 VAC and below, building and site lightingDevelop concept designs for renewable & resilient power delivery and storage systemsCoordinate with vendors to price and evaluate designsStrong knowledge in standard engineering techniques and proceduresExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment and demonstrated critical thinking skillsAbility to travelU.S Citizen and able to obtain security clearance

　　It would be nice if you had:

　　Eight (8) or more years of relevant experience to include experience in transportation electrification and/or Design and Development of Electric Charging stationsExperience designing projects for the Department of DefenseMaster's degree in electrical engineering is a plusDesign/Build project experienceExperience applying the NEC, NESC codes and IEEE standards

　　Pay Range:

　　Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00

　　The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
