Job Description Summary

　　As a contributing member of the LOCA, Containment & Stability Analysis Team, you will perform safety analysis for plant thermal-hydraulic stability, plant noise, PRNM stability interface, and other analyses supporting reload applications for Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) plants, including currently operating BWR plants as well as new plants (BWRX, Natrium) operating or planned worldwide.

　　Essential Responsibilities

　　Perform plant thermal-hydraulic stability analyses, plant noise analyses, PRNM stability interface, and other safety analyses with general expertise in two-phase thermal hydraulic analysis techniques.Deliver fuel projects including reload analyses, Stability methods implementation, new fuel introduction, and safety analysis support for emergent fuel issues.Perform in cross-disciplinary settings, engaged with interfacing teams responsible for mechanical design, core design, licensing, systems design, or other affiliated organizations to find optimum customer solutions.

　　Effectively communicate and coordinate activities with internal and external project managers, technical personnel, and customers on technical issues.Prepare, document and present technical data to internal/external customers.Provide technical mentoring to support Stability Analysis staff development and knowledge management, including procedure development and adherence.Develop/deliver training course offerings in support of external commercial requests, as well as for internal audiences for knowledge management, and knowledge capture and transfer.Contribute to team process improvements to drive speed and simplification.Ensure work is performed with high quality in accordance with NRC rules and regulations, customer requirements, and business quality assurance standards.

　　Minimum Qualifications

　　Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Discipline (Nuclear, Mechanical, Chemical, or similar) from an accredited college or universityMinimum of 2 years experience in BWR plant thermal hydraulic stability safety analysis and methods.

　　Eligibility Requirements

　　The preferred work location for this role is at the GEH Headquarters in Wilmington, NC; but highly qualified (US based) remote candidates will be considered.

　　The salary range for this position is $90-120k. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus. This role contributes to the overall strategy of the business within the Systems Engineering area.
