JOB REQUIREMENTS: Instruct preschool-aged children in activitiesdesigned to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth needed forprimary school in preschool, day care center, or other child developmentfacility. May be required to hold State certification. Our center islooking for a Lead Teacher to join our teaching team. Someresponsibilities are: *Lesson plan creation and implementation. *Useof positive guidance techniques. *Build and maintain parent/teacherrelationships. *Evaluate, observe and develop each child\'s abilities.*Create a caring community where families feel welcome. We are lookingfor a person who desires to work with children and families; iscommitted to a fast-paced work environment with new challenges andopportunities daily; someone who is enthusiastic about being a teamplayer. Our belief is that \"There is no finish line to quality care andeducation.\" Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meetstudents\' varying needs and interests. Arrange indoor and outdoor spaceto facilitate creative play, motor-skill activities, and safety.Demonstrate activities to children. Attend to children\'s basic needs byfeeding them, dressing them, and changing their diapers. Establish andenforce rules for behavior, and procedures for maintaining order.Observe and evaluate children\'s performance, behavior, socialdevelopment, and physical health. Provide a variety of materials andresources for children to explore, manipulate and use, both in learningactivities and in imaginative play. Read books to entire classes or tosmall groups.
