In this role, you will lead a project team to implement client HCM projects by planning, organizing, controlling, and deploying key milestones, deliverables, and resources according to client and business goals. You will use specific templates and techniques to manage through the preferred project life cycle to ensure business goals and objectives are accomplished within designated timeframes and budgets.

The nature of what you do every day will not change -- your #1 goal is to lead the project team to successfully implement clients on HCM products and services. Still, every day will be different because the questions you receive will vary, as will the solutions you provide each client. There will be no shortage of new questions you'll receive, which will keep things interesting, and our top-ranked training will help to set you up for success!

WHAT YOU'LL DO: Responsibilities

What you can expect on a typical day:

Be a True Partner. Do you want to be the ultimate relationship builder? You will manage large project teams responsible for the successful planning, coordination, and implementation of projects to ensure business goals and objectives are accomplished within designated timeframes and budgets. You will develop strong partnerships and working relationships at all levels of the organization, internally and externally.* Collaborate and Connect. Are you looking to learn and grow as a part of a team? You will identify cross-functional resources critical to project objectives and build diverse collaborative teams to drive business success. You will lead and influence initiatives and projects to provide strategic insights which enable efficient execution of project deliverables and milestones, including managing the full life cycle of projects.

* Think Like a Client, Act Like an Owner . Not afraid to be the owner of your project? You will provide analysis and status reports of the project, including business case, ROI, and post-project review. You will assess, manage, resolve, and escalate (if necessary) risks and issues.

* Create and Innovate. Do you want to champion best practices and process improvement? You will provide recommendations and suggest best practices with the expectation of always creating an exceptional client implementation experience. You'll use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to approach new situations.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Requirements

You have at least 8 years of project management experience and/or continuous improvement experience

You have prior work experience leading medium to large cross-functional and/or multi-year projects from concept to delivery

You possess strong knowledge of project management processes, tools, and structured methodologies

You guide and inspire others in a consultative approach and drive collaboration and client focus with the project team and internal partners

You communicate effectively, both verbal and written

You manage multiple and changing priorities (flexibility/adaptability

You demonstrate learning agility and critical thinking skills and apply basic concepts in new situations

You work and thrive independently and in a collaborative environment; you partner, collaborate, and work in a team (and matrixed) environmen

You coach, train, and mentor other team members with less experience

A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. Other acceptable experiences could include:

You bring industry expertise to each client solution and apply best practices through in-depth client consultation

You maintain focus and work effectively with multiple demands

You take initiative to seek out answers, solutions, and positive outcomes*

You're process-oriented with a high attention to details

You're proficient using Microsoft Office suite and have experience with Financial Force, Anaplan, Confluence, or similar tools

You have experience in the Human Capital Management (HCM) Industry and/or knowledge and understanding of payroll

You have PMP, PgMP, PHR, SPHR, CCP, CBP, HCS, or other similar certifications from highly recognized professional learning institutions
