　　Your Impact:

　　You'll brainstorm with Product Owners and Engineers on your team and organization to conceptualize and build new features for our large (and growing!) user base.You'll produce high-quality results by contributing heavily to team projects that have a significant impact on the business.You'll actively own team features or systems and define their long-term health, while also improving the health of surrounding systems.You'll improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes.You'll demonstrate a sense of autonomy for ownership of your areas and proactively take accountability for progress forward.You'll create and maintain detailed documentation.You'll participate in the team's on-call rotation to address sophisticated problems in real time and keep services operational and highly availableYou'll design, develop, deploy, and enhance automation to optimally run the observability platform infrastructureYou'll code review, mentor junior engineers, and provide technical guidance to the team (depending on the seniority level)

　　Requirements:

　　A relevant technical degree is required5+ years deploying distributed apps with containers (Docker) & orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS, GKE)3+ years of demonstrated ability working within and building on public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) and demonstrated ability deploying with a CI/CD orchestration services (Jenkins, Spinnaker)5+ years of Linux system engineering experience and working experience in programming languages (Python, Golang, Ruby) and professional development experience and capable of developing in a Cloud-based environment and implementing DevOps standard methodologies.Experience with networking concepts and components as implemented in IaaS (i.e. VPC, TGW, route tables, security groups, etc.)A continuous learner and a critical thinker.Excellent verbal communication and technical documentation skills

　　Preferred Skills:

　　Experience in observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Cloudwatch, Zabbix etc.Experience with Log Management and Analytics tools such as Splunk, Loki, TableauExperience in open-source technologies like HBase, Hadoop, Kafka, Spark, Presto, Hive, Airflow.Strong SQL skills and experience and experience with relational and non-relational databases e.g. (Postgres/Oracle/Redshift/Mongo).Experience providing Production Operations support in a 7x24x365 environment

　　For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $146,600 to $237,200.

　　For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $160,000 to $258,700.

　　Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
