About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to leverage your Artifactory experience and join our Enterprise Pipeline (CI/CD) team within our Chief Technology Office (CTO).
In this role, you will:
Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Experience in JFrog Artifactory, Xray, Curation modules
Experience in Harness, uDeploy, Jenkins, Terraform and Liquibase
Hands on experience in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices around databases
Strong implementation knowledge of Enterprise Pipeline (CI/CD) ecosystem
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with JFrog suite tools, focusing on installing, configuring, deploying, upgrading and maintaining Artifactory and Xray
Experience with Build tools (Gradle, Maven, NPM, Nuget, Gems, Docker, Helm)
Experience with Artifactory SaaS version
Experience in Software Development (Scripting, Python, Java) and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Best Practices
Experience in development, deployment, and automation in DevOps environment
Experience in HTTP communication
Good knowledge around build and deployments
Experience with Agile software development methodologies
Experience in software architecture methodologies including traditional three-tier and container-based microservices (Kubernetes preferred)
Experience in Java
Experience in Scripting (Unix, Python, Groovy)
Experience with CI/CD tools (TFS, Anthillpro, GitHub Actions, Sonar, Artifactory, Blackduck, Fortify)
Experience with Web/application servers (Apache Tomcat, WebLogic, Web Sphere, JBoss)
Development experience with a focus on building CI/CD pipelines with workflow automation in view
Knowledge of solution design leveraging IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
Fluency with modern monitoring and logging systems (Azure Monitor, Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus)
Familiarity with Jira and expressing non-functional requirements as stories
Excellent communication and presentation skills
