As a Lead Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development, implementation, and delivery of our software solutions. You will anchor a team of talented engineers, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software products. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for solving complex problems.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, high-performance software solutions.
Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, business intelligence engineers, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and create development roadmaps.
Architect robust and flexible systems that can adapt to changing business needs and technological advancements.
Drive best practices for coding standards, testing, and documentation.
Take ownership of technical challenges and provide innovative solutions.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating them into our development processes as appropriate.
Participate in hiring and onboarding new team members.

Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in full stack software development, with expertise in both frontend and backend technologies.
Interest or desire for pair programming.
Strong proficiency in modern programming languages and tech stacks such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, C#, Java, or similar.
Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Experience with writing automated tests, such as unit, integration, and regression tests. Experience with test-driven development is a plus.
Solid understanding of relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform. Experience with Azure Cognitive Services is a plus.
Experience with DevOps practices such as CI/CD, containerization, and infrastructure as code. Familiarity with deploying software to a Kubernetes based environment is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Experience working in an agile development environment. Experience with Extreme Programming is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to architect and design complex software systems.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$126,800 - $174,500 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
