DESCRIPTION
Develop and implement new features and enhancements for Nielsen software platforms and ensure seamless integration with other systems and services. Manage and maintain production and non-production environments. Participate in incident resolution to quickly and efficiently resolve issues. Collaborate with business stakeholders on project initiatives. Drive innovation in software architecture through continuous improvement. Mentor and integrate software engineers into various software engineering initiatives. Develop alternative solutions to improve system functionality.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or a related technical field and six (6) years of post-baccalaureate, progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related software engineering role. Prior experience must include five (5) years in/with: full stack application development using Node.js , JavaScript and Typescript. Prior experience must include three (3) years in/with: using infrastructure as code (IAC) tools including Terraform; working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or similar cloud-based architecture; configuration management using automation tools including Kubernetes (K8S) and Ansible; using continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) technologies including Gitlab-ci to continuously test and monitor software applications and systems. Telecommuting allowed three (3) days per week from within the Oldsmar, FL area.M-F , 40 hours/week.
