  Position Summary:

  Lead Sales Development Representative is responsible for building and developing new partnerships in the IVD sector in EMEA and APAC regions. The candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth targets for the entire b-2-b portfolio under Clinical Diagnostics Division. The candidate will be a "hands on" account management professional operating with a sense of ownership and accountability for annual commitments. This role is considered a key member of the Clinical Diagnostics Services team and must have the vision, drive, and interpersonal skills to succeed in a rapid growth environment.

  The approach will be focused on new or early life-cycle products/ventures, but also for adoption or driven conversion of existing products to new accounts. Typically field based and responsible for a product target quota or goal. The candidate analyzes market data to identify trends/opportunities, develops strategic direction from market information, and creates compelling market analysis presentations. Responsible for broadening the account base through development of partnerships, selling existing and new products/services.

  How you will make an impact:

  As a Lead Sales Development Representative, you will support the growth of the Clinical Diagnostics Services business within the Clinical Diagnostics Division, by driving market shares through lead generation and qualification.

  What will you do?

  Identify potential new customers through lead generation and qualification to create new opportunities and lead the negotiation process to close new account business, ensuring effective implementation of business opportunities, including pricing and volume.Coordinate workshops and site visits to promote advanced product technologies and capabilities and build long-term, positive relationships to generate new business opportunities.Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitive strategy, and find opportunities for growing through product positioning and differentiation.Support business units with market/competitive analysis and product strategy to ensure a clear and differentiated portfolio of products and servicesCollaborate with Strategic Key Account Managers and global and cross-functional matrix teams to develop strategies for reaching sales targetTake part in Commercial Operating mechanisms to track progress towards meeting sales goals and perform monthly sales pipeline reviews

  Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  B.S. degree in Scientific Field requiredStrong commercial skills and proven experience in sales (business-to-business preferred) or key account management8+ years of experience in the IVD or a related industry with a proven understanding of technical matters, product development processes, IVD regulatory frameworks, operations and supply chainContract negotiation skills gained through involvement in business-to-business relationshipsProven success in working in a global, matrixed-environment with the ability to lead and influence others without direct authorityStrong project management skillsSound discernment to understand key performance indicators and their drivers, and assess opportunity attractiveness (return on investment)Advanced level skills in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, etc.)Willingness to travel up to 20-30%, as required (and depending on location)

  Consistent track record of leading complex business-to-business relationshipsDetail oriented, outspoken self-starter who can operate efficiently to meet goals and timelines in multiple assignments and who is able to adapt to changeStrong interpersonal skills in front of internal and external audiences, while counseling, negotiating and formally communicating proposals and/or technical solutionsWell-developed written skills to prepare monthly reports, reviews and white papers, as well as preparing presentations to a variety of audiences
