Overview and Essential Functions

The Lead Safety will assist in the day to day management of all safety programs for the company. This position will coordinate with the Safety Manager, Area Managers and others to ensure compliance with all programs, policies and OSHA regulations.
What you’ll do…
You will conduct jobsite safety inspections
You will assist work crews with jobsite safety observations
You will coordinate safety related purchases
You will conduct new hire safety training
You will conduct specialized safety training
You will maintain all safety documentation and training records
You will conduct accident investigations
You will assist with other safety projects as assigned
Qualifications
Who we’re looking for…
Must have 3-5 years of related experience preferably in the construction safety field
Must have working knowledge of USDOT and OSHA regulations
Must have valid driver's license with good driving record
Excellent computer skills with proficiency using Microsoft Office
Strong communications skills
Ability to frequently travel to other work locations
