Job Description:
Partners with internal and external teams to define, assess, and manage risk of partners and merchants operating in high-risk categories. Regularly conducts periodic and ad-hoc reviews of partners and their merchants to ensure compliance with Discover policies and applicable regulations. Investigates violations of non-compliance and remediates as needed. Serves as a risk subject matter expert for high-risk category merchant acquiring.
Responsibilities
Conducts and directs investigation of compliance issues.
Reports violations of standards as needed.
Maintains documentation of compliance activities, including complaints received and investigation outcomes.
Identifies compliance issues that require follow up and investigation.
Draft compliance reports as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:
Bachelor's Degree in Arts and Sciences
4+ years of experience in financial services, or related field
In lieu of a degree, 6+ years of experience in AML, Fraud, Legal, Regulatory Compliance, Financial Analysis, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
If we had our say, we’d also look for:
6+ years of experience in AML, Fraud, Legal, Regulatory Compliance, Financial Analysis, or related field
CAMS Certification, other Compliance, Fraud, Audit, or related certification
5+ years payments / network compliance or related experience working with acquirers, merchants, and other network participants.

Compensation:
The base pay for this position generally ranges between $75,500.00 to $127,900.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
