About Lead Product Manager - Uber Eats

  As a Product Manager for the Uber Eats Merchant team.You will own core pieces of our merchant experience, connecting several lifecycle aspects into one cohesive experience.You will own experiences across our web and mobile Merchant products.Working with multiple feature teams across acquisition, selection, in-store experience, post-delivery and others.To make sure that merchant is experiencing Uber as one experience, rather than a roughly stitched together set of features.

  Lead a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, data science, product operations, and regional operations to ship best-in-class Merchant ExperiencesForm a strong vision and roadmap for a particular part of the merchant journey and sell that vision internally to cross-functional stakeholders as well as to the leadership.

  ---- What the Candidate Will Do ----

  Lead the Acquisition team which comprises of Signup & Onboarding and Merchant Accounts charters.This role plays a critical role in improving Selection on the Uber Eats platform by building products to acquire and onboard high-quality merchants.This is a global Product role and serves all 30+ geographies where Uber Eats operates.Internalize and deeply understand Uber's mission and strategies, and use these to define and distill the mission and objectives for your specific teamsUnderstand the needs of our merchants, consumers, and the business to define the vision, strategy, and roadmapCollaborate with market-facing and engineering teams to address business needs with bar-raising product features.Monitor and measure launched products and feed insights into the product development process.Communicate product plans, benefits, and results to a broad spectrum of audiences, from internal users to leadership teamsWork closely with engineering, design, data science, and lines of businesses to figure out features to build nextEnsure synchronization with other teams across the Merchant portfolioSupport leadership and stakeholders with strategic inputs on product enhancements and contribute to cross-team initiatives

  10+ years of product management experience delivering highly successful and innovative products with your fingerprints all over them -- and you're deeply proud of what you've accomplishedEmpathy: For your cross-functional team, for your stakeholders and their goals, and most importantly, for the merchants, you create these experiences forAbility to structure thinking to translate complex problems into simplified next stepsNever-ending ability to grow & learn and adapt your thinking to a fast-paced environmentGrittiness: You never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and tackle something hands-onTech Savviness: Ability to understand & translate sophisticated technical concepts across cross-functional teams and to simplify key takeaways for executivesUnderstanding of UX best practices: Proven ability to deliver top-class end-customer experiencesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to justify requirements and features and drive the management of productGreat attention to detail
